| Social pressures and challenges |
Humans' as we all know are social beings. We live and thrive with each other and how the people around us behave and act has a certain amount of influence on each individual. Social activities and challenges have their own effect on individuals and how an individual will react to these pressures and challenges depends upon that individual’s character and strength.
No matter how hard any one tries it is almost impossible for a single human being to live in solitude. Even if the individual does not interact much with others he/she will be living in society. So the individual will be forced to live according to the rules and regulations of society. As an example' just because an individual does not associate with others does not mean that individual can do any thing he/she wants to. Every body' whether living in a city or in a small town will have to abide by the rules and the regulations set by society in that area.
Just because these rules and regulations are set it does not mean all individuals in society are safe. It’s in fact totally contrary to that belief. There are so many things and so many ways that a person can be influenced and be pressured into doing or becoming something he/she is not. There is a saying that “real life could either make you or break you.” How an individual deals with the pressures and challenges of the society totally depends on that individual’s character' strength and mind set. There is another saying which says “one man's pain is the next man's pleasure' one man's trash is the next man's treasure.” Every thing depends on the individual and how the people close to that individual support and help that person.
The world is not a bed of roses' but it is not a bed of thorns either. It’s up to each individual to realize this and act and behave in the best way for their growth. It is true that how others act has an effect on one’s character' but it is also true that how you act has consequences and affect' and influences other people around you. Dealing with social life and with the day to day challenges that come with it is a part of life. Remember it is not how hard you fall down' it’s about how fast and strong you get back on your feet that count. |
