What is short term medical insurance?
Denver Short Term Medical insurance is a temporary individual health insurance plan issued for one to six months. If you have not filed any claims or had any significant health issues, you can normally re-apply for one additional policy of up to six months. One thing to note is that it usually takes a fairly healthy person to qualify for this coverage, so if you have been denied under normal individual coverage this will not be a good replacement. It works best when you are in between jobs, but of course there are always other reasons an individual or family may be temporarily left without permanent coverage. The plan may also come with options to add accidental, life or dental-vision coverage.
