Brooks Camp, Katmai National Park & Preserve – King Salmon, Alaska

The camp is situated at the mouth of the Brooks River along the shores of Naknek Lake. Special services including a ranger station, visitor center, auditorium and campground are available from June to September.
Hot Springs National Park KOA – Hot Springs, Arkansas
The hot springs found here have been used by people for over two centuries as a way of relaxation and in treating illnesses. Nicknamed ‘The American Spa’, there are a number of things you can do here including hiking in the park’s 26 miles of trails, driving through scenic mountain roads, take a tour through the visitor center in the historic Fordyce Bathhouse, have a picnic on the mountains, wander around the eight historic bathhouses located within the area and camping at Gulpha Gorge campground. Open all year round.
Mather Campground, Grand Canyon National Park – Grand Canyon, Arizona
It is one of the most popular destinations with over five million visitors received each year. Things to do include visiting the scenic Hermit Road, touring the beautiful Desert View Drive, attending free ranger programs, visiting the Museum, hiking during the day around the canyon or backpack overnight below the South Rim, walks on the Rim Trail, travel on the Grand Canyon Railway and whitwater and smoothwater rafting on the Colorado River. Forks Campground, Sierra National Forest - Bass Lake, California
This campground is situated in an area that has something on offer for everyone. Visit the Stanislaus National Forest, hike on the Corral Valley Trail, run the rapids of the East Fork of Carson River or go skiing on Dodge Ridge. This area gets a lot of rainfall throughout the year so make sure you’re prepared when visiting.
Steamboat Lake State Park – Clark, Colorado
A feature of this campground is the 1,100 surface-acre reservoir lying at 8,000 feet. Open all year round, the park offers both summer and winter camping. A wide variety of activities are available that includes backcountry camping, biking, boating, cross-country skiing, education programs, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, ice fishing, jet skiing, sailboarding, snowshoeing, water skiing, swimming and winter camping.
Hodges Gardens State Park – Florien, Los Angeles
A great destination for gardening fans. The park is spread across 700 acres of plants and flowers both wild and cultivated. The garden’s many waterfalls, pools and fountains are fed by the 225 acre lake built inside the park. Furnished cabins and lodges are available for accommodation. Open all year round.
