An Interview with Dr. Michael H. Halasz on Invisalign.

Dr. Michael H. Halasz is a dentist and has answered some of the common questions bizymoms visitors have about Invisalign.

Q.    What is an Invisalign?

A.    Invisalign is a type of orthodontics.  See invisalign.com

Q.    How does invisalign work?

A.    The patient wears plastic aligner trays that are virtually invisible.  The trays are worn 24/7 and are changed every 2 weeks.  They slowly move teeth over the course of treatment.

Q.    What are the primary benefits of invisalign?

A.    The aligners are nearly invisible.  Because they are removable, for eating and brushing, you don’t have to alter your eating habits or brushing/flossing routine.

Q.    How long does invisalign treatment take?

A.    It depends on each individual case. 3-12 months is average.

Q.    How much does invisalign cost?

A.    Same as traditional orthodontics ... $4500-$5500

Q.    Who uses invisalign?

A.    Teenagers and adults

Q.    Are there certain dental conditions that automatically exclude someone from being an eligible patient?

A.    No.

Q. How to contact Dr. Halasz if we have further questions?
