Q.Tell us about yourself and your practice.
A.I am a plastic surgeon and a partner in The Plastic Surgery Group. I have been in practice for 18 years and as a group we have over 100 years of plastic surgery experience. My partners are Gene Ireland, Michael Leadbetter, Richard Williams, Lawrence Kurtzman and Robert Hummel.
Q.Please explain the primary procedures performed by your practice.
A.I perform the entire spectrum of plastic Surgical procedures in my practice as do all of my partners. We offer all injectable and have a full service skin care division in our practice. We also offer permanent make-up and laser hair removal services. We are truly a full service Plastic Surgery practice.

A.We have offices in Cincinnati at 4850 Red Bank Expressway, in Northern Kentucky at 340 Chapel Place and in West Chester at Liberty Place. Our Phone for all 3 locations is 513-791-4440

A.I am certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. All of my partners are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well.

A.We all have hospital privileges to perform our surgeries.
Q.What is Botox?
A.Botox is a purified form of botulin toxin. It has been used successfully in various applications in medicine for many years. It is FDA approved for the treatment of forehead frown lines.
Q.Who is the ideal candidate for BOTOX?
A.The ideal candidate for Botox has the lines in the central forehead commonly known as the 11\'s. Other areas commonly treated are the upper forehead and the crow\'s feet around the eyes.
Q.How does BOTOX work?
A.Botox works by paralyzing the muscles that cause the lines to form.
Q.How long do the results of BOTOX last?
A.It\'s effects last from 3-4 months.
Q.How much does BOTOX cost?
A.The cost of Botox is $250.00 per area.
Q.How safe is Botox?
A.Botox has a very good safety profile. The most common side effects are headache and bruising at the injection site. The most frequent adverse effect of Botox is drooping of the upper eyelid which is temporary.
Q.How many treatments will be needed for Botox?
A.For Botox temporary injections have to be repeated every 3-4 months to maintain the effect. Some patients may experience longer lasting effects as they have used Botox for awhile due to weakening of the muscles. If you stop using Botox the lines will eventually return.
