Charleston is home to 26 private schools, 2 Montessori schools, 3 special program schools and 2 special education schools. Among the several excellent schools are Addlestone Hebrew Academy (elementary), Addlestone Hebrew Academy (middle), James Island Christian School (high school) and Ashley Hall (elementary, middle and high).
