Q. Do you provide free consultation?
A. Yes, I offer a free consultation with me that will be in the spirit of education and without pressure.
Q. How long does a hair transplant procedure take?
A. Depending on the number of grafts for a particular hair transplantation, it usually takes 4-8 hours.
Q. Are the clients kept conscious during the procedure?
A. I will give medication throughout the day to alleviate anxiety and discomfort. We also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), at no additional charge, which produces a comforting and relaxing feeling. The patient is conscious but sedated for the procedure.
Q. When will the newly transplanted hair start to grow?
A. It starts to grow in two months and usually within a year after the procedure all the hair has grown in.
Q. When can the clients resume normal activities like washing the hair, going in the sun, etc?
A. They can resume most normal activities within a few days, however the grafts cannot have prolonged sun exposure until eight weeks after their procedure.
Q. Are there any simple outpatient procedures available?
A. Hair transplant procedure is an outpatient procedure that takes 4-8 hours. Botox/Dysport, and Dermal Fillers are outpatient procedures that only takes a few minutes and one can resume normal activities immediately afterwards.
