The reason that my home office is so messy is because I am the mother of six. Two girls, a husband, two labs and a cat. Ok so I am the mother of two but everyone else thinks that I am their mother too. My home office tends to be the "catch all" room. If someone doesn't know where something goes then they just put it in my home office so I can find a place for it. Because I currently work full-time I find it hard to find time to clean up my office. The room is full of bills, toys, clothes, extra furniture etc. I am trying to get things ready to start my virtual assisstant business but as you can see I really need to clean up my act first.
