A. Botox is an FDA-approved injection for the cosmetic treatment of facial wrinkles and lines.

A. Anyone that has undesired frowning of the forehead and eyebrows or wrinkles that form around the eyes with smiling.
Q. How does BOTOX work?
A. Botox works by temporarily weakening the injected muscles. The chemical gets in between the nerve and the muscle and prevents it from being stimulated.
Q. What is the recovery period for BOTOX?
A. There is no recovery. You can be treated and out of the office in a few minutes and no one is the wiser!

A. Typically, 4 to 6 months
Q. How much does BOTOX cost?
A. The cost of Botox is variable and most practices charge by the number of units given. On average, treatment between the eyebrows (frowning or scowling) is around $350; treatment for forehead wrinkles is around $225, and treatment for smile lines around the eyes around $275.
