There are various Various Types of Heart Diseasess, and each type has some different symptoms from the others, though some symptoms may be common or similar. Symptoms also usually depend upon the extent or seriousness of the problem.
Symptoms of coronary heart disease
This is the most common form of heart disease, and its symptom is also most commonly identifiable as angina pectoris, or chest pain. There is usually an indication to the patient in the form of acute heaviness or squeezing feeling in the chest. Initially, the patient or the other observers may misunderstand it as an indigestion problem. But it should not be taken lightly, and must be reviewed immediately with a physician. Furthermore, if the pain travels to the shoulder area, neck, back or mouth, then it is a stronger indication of a heart problem, and needs emergency medical attention.
Other symptoms of the disease include heart pounding, breathlessness, irregular heartbeat and irregular breathing, or a feeling of weakness, nausea and sweating.
Symptoms of a heart attack
If a person is experiencing a heart attack, the situation can be identified by the following symptoms:
Pain in the chest, arms or shoulders.
Feeling of choking in the throat or difficulty in breathing.
Sweatiness, dizzying feeling in the head, or nausea.
Anxiety or nervousness attack, or breathlessness.

This is a condition of irregular heart beating, and the following symptoms may reveal an acute case of arrhythmia:
Palpitating heart, with a feeling of skipping heartbeats.
Violent heart pounding.
Dizzying feeling, or light-headedness.
Fainting.
Breathlessness.
Acute weakness or fatigue
Arterial fibrillation

Fatigue or extreme tiredness.
Feeling of dizziness.
Heaviness or pain in the chest area.
Breathlessness.
Heart valve disease
The heart has four valves, and any defect or malfunctioning in any of the valves is known as heart valve disease. The key symptoms of this disease are as follows:
Difficulty in breathing, particularly during physical activity or while sleeping.
Constant feeling of fatigue and tiredness.
Chest pain.
In extreme condition, the valve disease can cause swelling in ankles, feet or abdomen.
