Motel Franchise opportunities have become very popular recently. The hospitality industry is an exciting business and has witnessed many branded motels in the market. Formerly the hospitality trade was mostly independent properties and with the successes of one motel' management of motels opened up motels with the same name in different locations' maintaining the same standards. As the popularity of a particular motel chain or any other business increased' proprietors and owners of motels' hotels and many other establishments started selling the established name on their terms and conditions.

A motel franchise is a legal and commercial commitment between the owner of a motel trade name to operate a motel in the same name according to guidelines and standards set by the owner and/or the owning company of the trade name. For this purpose an agreement will be signed between the two parties which will stipulate the conditions of agreement and the standards that are expected in the operation of the hotel. In return a fee is required to be paid to the franchise holder.
