Boise School District includes 5 high, 8 junior highs, and 31 elementary and 2 specialty schools for their student population of 38,054. The student teacher ratio is at 18 to 1. It is possible for Idaho students to attend schools outside their geographical limitations in their area of residence. Schools are rated on a 10 scale according to public standardized testing.
