Today Blip.fm is down. I did a search on Twitter and everyone who is a big Blip.fm fan is tweeting about the error messages.
What is Blip.fm?
Blip.fm if you haven't used it is the Twitter version for music. You blip music like you would tweet status updates. It is a lot of fun but today when I visited I got a fake reboot screen. My initial instinct was to click away just in case it contained a virus, but then realizing I was a MAC, and a little safer, I had to go back and look at it again. As I started reading it I couldn't stop thinking about how creative the person who put up this screen is. I don't know if you can see it very well in the picture below but after every boot sequence you see a funny message. Like, 'Snack break... BACK!'
BTW: don't visit the site today it really might be a virus or worse a worm.
If I find any updates as to what happened I'll be sure to post them on here or on my Twitter account.

I give the hacker or whoever did this credit for at least being entertaining while they brought the site down. One of the boot sequences actually reads, 'Summing the power of Greyskull, 'I HAVE THE POWER!' Does anyone remember who gave He-man his power?
I am sure the tech guys of Blip.fm are not finding this very entertaining as they try to bring the site back up. They are probably grumbling how this hackers 'Awesomeness....OFF THE CHARTS' is anything but that. And honestly I am missing my music Blips right now. I do hope they figure out how to fix it soon.
