Why did you start it? Extra income; amazing products; wanted to teach parents/day care providers about the
importance of having a toxic chemical free home; help familes save money; help
others make extra income.
What was your inspiration? Inspired by the values of the company; inspired by the quality of the products and
most importantly inspired by the fact that the products were all environmentally
responsible.
How much capital in terms of resources did you invest to start up your business? $29 for the account; $299. for career pack which was one of three choices for being
exposed to a large number of the products at a 60% discount. This gave me the
opportunity to try a wider selection with a 60-day empty bottle guarantee.

Who are your main customers? What demographic are they mostly from? My customers really is everyone - moms or dads who want to stay home and raise
their children; those who like shopping from home; those who are into wellness and
health; those who want a healthy home environment; those are are looking for
\"green\" products; really everyone can benefit either as a wholesale customer or
those who like to make some extra income on a PT or FT basis.
What do you feel are the basic goals that a business such as yours should reach in
the first year? The majority of those who join the company are customers only (85%). The rest (15%)
are interested in generating residual income. Based on the 1099s submitted to the
IRS, the first year goal would be reaching mid level with the company which means
the average income would be $55K. This is for someone who can invest 5-15 hrs per
week. Of course, many just need an extra $300-500 and then there are those who will
strive for the 6 figure income. Anything is possible and it\'s based on an
individual\'s own effort.
For anyone who wishes to start their own WAH business in the same industry as yours
what are your top 3 advice tips? Top 3 tips: First, be coachable - this is a business of duplication so just follow
the path of those who have succeeded before; second, have a heart - this is a
business in which someone succeeds by helping others succeed; third - have a strong
desire to achieve one\'s own personal goals.
Has this business venture allowed you to spend more time or less time with your
family? This business gives someone total flexibility. I have been able to spend more time
with family and friends; I can travel and take my business with me; I have been
able to help families extra income that has allowed a mom to stay home or to get
out of dept. It\'s truly an amazing business that is totally risk free!
What are the top three marketing strategies that you employed to achieve success for
your business? Top 3 marketing strategies for me would be: 1) understanding the compensation plan
which helps you help others; share the information about the company to everyone
and not pre-judge; 3) network, network, network.
What goals are next for your business? Goals are to continue to share the benefits with as many people as I can; help
others do the same and to work very closely with two people to get them to
mid-level with the company and beyond.
Where do you see your business in another 10 years? Our company continues to manufacture products and offer services everyone
needs/uses. They are able to manufacture the best products and still maintain a
pricing structure that allows consumers to safe money. Our company is debt-free
and continues to have positive growth (grew by $28M in 2008) I see my business the
same only with more customers and partners.

your business has achieved. The company continues to win environmental awards, public service awards and is
currently in the INC 500 hall of fame.
How many times a year do you offer special discounts on your products or services?
When? Special discounts and services are offered 365 days a year. There are monthly
product specials plus there are continuing discounts with over 70 retail vendors
for other products and services. For instance, there is an additional 12%
discount for shopping Dell Computers from our company\'s main web site.
Share with us two positive feedback comments your customers have said about your
product/and or service. Two comments would have to be about the products. First, a Mom was so grateful for
being introduced to our company since their 3 year old decided to mix the automatic
dish detergent thinking it was a lemon drink. Upon calling Poison Control, they
recommended giving him milk but also said that the mom was very lucky as the product
was totally safe (no trip to the hospital; no damage at all except for possibly an
upset stomach). A second comment would be from another mom (mom of 6 plus a husband
in the military) was that she started building her business but because of
deployments and home schooling for 6 years could not continue to build. However in
that time frame Allison still earned over $12,000. residually from the customers she
had originally introduced and when she is ready she can resume her business where
she left off and not have to start all over again.
