When did you start it? January 2009

Why did you start it? I just recently got a divorce. I was married for 20 years, in a very abusive relationship. I have 3 children, that I homeschooled all their lives, and now 2 of them are in college, and my youngest is in the 11 grade. I had always wanted to have my own catering business, but was never allowed to. so now I have taken control of my own life, and I am doing what I have always wanted to do.

What was your inspiration? I LOVE to cook, I LOVE entertaining, I LOVE being around people. I LOVE giving back. I also want to show myself and others that have been in my situation that you can succeed at whatever you put your mind to.

How much capital in terms of resources did you invest to start up your business? I had to start from scratch.

Do you have a website for your business? If yes please provide it Working on that now

Who are your main customers? What demographic are they mostly from? I will cater do anyone. Personal chef, weddings, parties, corprate, picnics, home cooked meals delivered to your home, any special events, etc...

What do you feel are the basic goals that a business such as yours should reach in
the first year? Developing a clientele, getting my name out there.

what are your top 3 advice tips? Love what you are wanting to do, Be good at what you want to do, Do be afraid to get your feet wet, and explore the water.

What are the top three marketing strategies that you employed to achieve success for
your business? Word of mouth, website, Getting myself out there and getting the business, cause no one can do it for me.

What goals are next for your business? Growing..... Expanding....

Where do you see your business in another 10 years? Would love to have a large catering business that is affordable for anyone
