E.A. Brevita Drive-Thru and System Support
By: Kelly Traw

Introduction
New business, expand coffee/smoothie/frappe retail business and/or in-home sales
opportunity

E.A. Brevita Cooperative Association features everything you need to start or expand a coffee, smoothie and frappe business. You can use your own company name and logo or the E.A. Brevita brand. You can use the equipment provided or your own. Everything is there but you have total control because E.A. Brevita is a cooperative, not a franchise.

For $84,000 (USD) plus delivery, E.A. Brevita drive-thru includes:

  1. A solid metal construction building with all the systems to operate a drive-thru: Heating, AC, water, electrical, POS (including BrevitaCard national gift card program) as well as shelving, sinks, stainless steel counters, refrigerator and ice bin
  2. Beverage preparation equipment (espresso machine, two grinders, two blenders) and start-up supplies
  3. E.A. System Support: Business planning (pre-financing), online training and support; U.S.-based members get first-year membership in EADelivers.com, a discount club powered by Amazon.com (this system will expand to Canada and other countries in the future)

There are no franchise fees or royalties. Starting in Year 2, month-to-month membership dues hit $210 for U.S.-based customers using BrevitaDelivers.com. For members outside the U.S., membership dues will not exceed $145 per month – a far cry from the 6% to 12% of revenues some franchises take as royalties and franchise fees.

I chose to join E.A. Brevita Cooperative Association as an entrepreneur and coffee industry veteran because of the vision we share for providing a leg up (not a hand out) to people trying to improve their lives and/or businesses. Having had a hand in espresso programs for Starbucks, McDonald’s, Caribou Coffee and Panera Bread, it has been great to participate in building E.A. Brevita’s systems – they are better than these retail leaders’ in many cases and available to first-time entrepreneurs and key accounts alike.

In addition to the courage, determination and general business sense (or ability to learn quickly) it takes any entrepreneur to start a business, people starting espresso drive-thru businesses do best when they care about the beverage and the customer. Our system helps with 99 of the 100 hats you’ll need to wear, but you need to take the lead on customer service and setting an expectation level for the quality of beverages served.

If you are interested in owning a drive-thru unit, visit www.EABrevita.com or call toll free 1-877-GO-BREVITA.

If you would like to sell E.A. Brevita drive-thru units, earning $5,000 per building sold, send your contact information and some good times to reach you to: info@EABrevita.com.

E.A. Brevita drive-thru unit and its support system costs $84,000 (USD) plus shipping or $89,000 (USD) inside the lower 48 United States. Additional start-up costs vary but typically range $10,000-$15,000 (USD).

None. You have the ultimate freedom with no limitations (grow an international chain?) or performance requirements. If success for you means one unit, that’s OK too.

Possible earnings range from a net loss (if you select a poor location and fail to promote the business) to netting over $200,000 per unit. Through expansion to multiple units, you can see that the sky’s the limit, earnings-wise.
