Welcome To Birmingham Public School
The Mount Laurel Elementary School on Jefferson Place is a Birmingham public school that is one of the few Alabama schools to make a ten out of ten score on the State Tests-based Great Schools ratings. The kindergarten to third grade school aims to ‘motivate students through meaningful learning experiences that promote individual success.’ Programs of this proudly ‘Twenty first century School’ include Gifted Education, Special Education, Art, Music, Computer Education and Physical Education, with a Guidance Counselor, Reading Coach and library Media Specialist on-site. |
