Liz Folger first started bizymoms back in 1997 to simply promote her book, The Stay-at-Home Mom’s Guide To Making Money From Home. Not wanting just a one page, “here’s my book” kind of web page…bizymoms.com was born.

She started by creating the web page herself to soon hiring someone to help her out. Bizymoms is one of those miracle sites. Much like the Energizer bunny, it just keeps going.

When Liz first started bizymoms.com she was married and her daughters were about three and four years of age. Liz knows what it’s like to have babies and want to work at home. That’s why bizymoms has stayed around for as long as it has. That and the incredible people who have helped Bizymoms through thick and thin…Jen, Joyce and Sandra…a HUGE thank-you goes out to you three wonderful woman.

It’s now 2005 and Liz is a single mom. She has had to work outside the home for awhile to get back on her feet. Sometimes the plans we have for our lives…isn’t what is really planned for us. Liz has found though that if you allow yourself to make mistakes, if you allow yourself to be whatever it is you’re supposed to be – without shame or guilt – you’re going to live a very fun and exciting life. The kind of life you’re happy and proud to be living.

Liz Folger now works full-time as the founder of bizymoms, a mom to two very beautiful preteen daughters, is an author, self- syndicated columnist and public speaker.

Her book, The Stay-at-Home Mom's Guide To Making Money has been featured in the national publications; Forbes, Business Start-Ups, Working From Home, and Woman's Own. She has appeared as a guest on many radio shows and regional TV. Liz was also a guest on Lifetime's Television for Women, Our Home, where she reported on how to avoid work-at-home scams and on the PBS's Internet Cafe.

Liz Folger is considered the work-at-home mom expert and runs a resource on the Internet called Bizy Moms, http://www.bizymoms.com, for moms who want to work at home and for those moms who already have a home business. She also publishes a weekly syndicated column that can be found on many sites on the Internet. Liz is also available for presentations on finding & starting the perfect business, marketing on a budget and how to have fun for a living. She has given motivating and inspiring presentations at home schooling conferences, the Women's Business Conference sponsored by the Junior League of Oakland East Bay, Inc, and numerous talks to mother's groups. For a complete list of her appearances and to make arrangements for Liz to appear for your group please see the scheduling appearances page.

Right before the birth of her first daughter, Liz struggled with how she could stay home with her child and still contribute to her family's income. Falling for a scam and sinking a lot of money into a dealership that didn't work out, she finally figured out the key to success was to find a business she loved and didn't actually feel like work. After this realization, her writing career took off.

Liz feels everyone is born with a special talent. A person just needs to discover what that talent is. Once this happens, finding the perfect home business becomes a much easier process. Combine that talent with persistence and you will become an unstoppable force

When I was looking for what type of business to start. I searched and searched for a book that could help me as a mom to start a home business. Guess what? Couldn't find one. So I took matters into my own hands and wrote the book myself. Click here for more information about the book,Stay-At-Home Mom's Guide To Making Money
