How to Apply Lipstick |

Lipstick is part of our basic make up accessories we all use on a daily basis.
But, did you know that there is a correct way of applying lipstick that can give you those luscious lips you’ve always wanted but couldn’t get?
Well, now you can learn to do that by reading through these simple techniques.
Choosing the lipstick color to suite the occasion, time of day and your skin color is most important. You don’t want to be wearing colors that emphasis your lips and not compliment your overall look. So choose colors carefully.
Lipstick and lip liner should be the last thing you apply on your face. So make sure the rest of the make up is all done before starting on your lips.
First, apply a small dab of lip balm to give your lips some moisture which will cover the dry lines on your lips.
With the use of your lip liner, draw a line along your lips starting from the center of the upper lip working your way out. Your lip liner should be a darker shade than your lipstick. If you have thin lips and want to make them bigger you can do so by drawing the line along the edge of the lips to get those full lips.
Once you have outlined the lips fill your lips with the lipstick you’ve chosen. You can either use the stick or a lip brush as preferred.
Now that everything is done all you have to do is use a tissue to remove excessive lipstick around the lips and you’re good to go! |
