Chinese Yoga qi gong can Help You De-Stress Quickly ~ Kay Hutchinson

Chinese yoga (also known as qi gong) can be integrated into your daily routine to help you detoxify and de-stress at a deep level. Learn how a simple Chinese yoga breath work can help you improve focus, calm and health.

The challenge of finding the time to de-stress amid the many demands of your day, just got easier.

Chinese yoga (also known as qi gong), is a type of breath work and movement that can easily be integrated into your day.

These exercises not only raise your metabolism to help you burn more calories but also:

• Improve core strength.

• Improves the energy flow of internal organs.

• Detoxify the body at a profound level.

• Decrease fatigue and increase energy.

• Increases meditative states to reduce stress.

A great way to get started is to practice the five count breath work exercise any time during your day.

As you move from task to task, consciously exhale deeply for a count of five, long and slowly.

Then, inhale slowly, allowing your lower abdomen to fill with air as you count again to five.

Repeat this cycle for a few moments.

You will be amazed at how calming this deep breath work can feel. It also allows you to mentally and physically rejuvenate as you go about your everyday tasks.

Teach your children to perform counted breath work. This can help to diffuse challenging moments and shift states from moodiness to calmness.

Also, deeply oxygenating the body with breathwork, teaches children how to self-soothe in a positive way and helps them build an early awareness of the body-mind connection.
