About The Zodiac System

The zodiac system utilizes different qualities of astrology to show personalities of people born during a certain day and month. The zodiac is a complex subject which holds a lot of significance to people who believe in its meanings. Read about how it all got started.

The zodiac system
Zodiac means the annual cycle of 12 stations along the eclipse with the path of the Sun dividing the path of the eclipse into 12 equal zones. The zodiac is known to be the first celestial coordinate system.

The word ‘Zodiac' comes from Latin and Greek backgrounds where it means to be the ‘circle of animals'.

The zodiac also means a region of the celestial sphere that include 8 arc degrees above and below the ecliptic. This means that the zodiac encompasses the paths of the Moon and other planets visible to the naked eye.

In Western' Chinese' Maya' Hebrew and other zodiacs some of these ideas and interpretation of the zodiac differs.

Zodiac Signs are an important part determining a person's horoscope. Each sign is on a different position in the sky and can be seen and traced through the position of the stars. At the same time' based on the planetary positions' each zodiac will affect the person born in that moment of time.There are 12 such zodiacs that are represented by different symbols and according to western astrology are spread through a different time span.

Aries (symbolizing a Ram)' Taurus (symbolizing a Bull)' Gemini (symbolizing a Twins)' Cancer (symbolizing a Crab)' Leo (symbolizing a Lion)' Virgo (symbolizing a Virgin)' Libra (symbolizing a Scale)' Scorpio (symbolizing a Scorpio)' Sagittarius (symbolizing a Archer)' Capricorn (symbolizing a Goat)' Aquarius (symbolizing a Water Bearer)' Pisces (symbolizing a Fish).

In Chinese Zodiac' the representation is different.

The animals of the Chinese Zodiac are: rat (or mouse)' ox (or cow)' tiger' r

abbit (or hare)' dragon' snake' horse' sheep (or goat)' monkey' rooster' dog' and pig (or boar).

Formerly' these animals were also used in the naming of the Chinese hour' where the day is divided into 12 hours.

In other zodiacs' the calculation of the positions of the zodiac as well as their characteristics and movements can be different.
