Disposition of heavenly bodies in the space is a natural phenomenon. The study of movement of those heavenly bodies like Sun' Moon' Planets and Stars and their influence on earth and the lives of the people is Astrology. It differs from one country to another because of the methods adopted in interpretation of this planetary influence. Hence' Astrology has been categorized as Indian' Chinese' European and Western. Indian astrology is over 5'000 years old and has its foundation in ancient science. Indian astrology is also known as Jyotisa a word has derived from the Sanskrit jyótis' which means light or heavenly body. The foundation of Jyotisa is from the ancient Indian spiritual traditions.There are set backs' problems and various other difficult times in life due to the influence of planets. At such instances many have recourse to astrology.. They perform different religious ceremonies to alleviate or avoid the pain and sufferings of the people.. In fact' there is a belief among the Hindus that all humans have to face the consequences either good or bad depending on what they do in life. If good is done there is happiness and peace of mind. On the other hand if something bad or evil is done it is imminent that the consequences are sad and fatal..
