Astrology and science
Zodiac signifies an annual cycle of twelve stations along the eclipse. The zodiac is the first known celestial coordinate system. The word ‘Zodiac' comes from Latin and Greek backgrounds where it means to be the ‘circle of animals'.

The zodiac also means a region of the celestial sphere that include 8 arc degrees above and below the ecliptic. This means that the zodiac encompasses the paths of the Moon and other planets visible to the naked eye.

Astrologers use the movement of the Sun and the other planets through the Zodiac to explain and predict events on earth. Astronomers refer to the zodiac as wandering stars.

There are 12 zodiacs' identified by different symbols' which is defined and explained with reflecting characteristics. In western astrology' these symbols are given a certain time span based on their position when determining a new born's birth sign.

These zodiac signs are;

Aries (symbolizing a Ram) – From March 21 to April 19

Taurus (symbolizing a Bull) –From April 20 to May 20

Gemini (symbolizing a Twins) – From May 21 to June 21

Cancer (symbolizing a Crab) – From June 22 to July 22

Leo (symbolizing a Lion) – From July 23 to August 22

Virgo (symbolizing a Virgin) – From August 23 to September 22

Libra (symbolizing a Scale) – From September 23 to October 23

Scorpio (symbolizing a Scorpio) – From October 24 to November 22

Sagittarius (symbolizing a Archer) – From November 23 to December 21

Capricorn (symbolizing a Goat) – From December 22 to January 19

Aquarius (symbolizing a Water Bearer) – From January 20 to February 18

Pisces (symbolizing a Fish) – From February 19 to March 20

The zodiac is interpreted' used and understood in different ways by different cultures. Some known examples are the Chinese zodiac' the Maya zodiac and the Western Zodiac. Hence' it has now become a popular subject among all cultures.
