Asian Astrology in General
A horoscope is a document that is created at the time of a person's birth. It is also known as birth chart or natal chart. When a child is born the date' time and place of birth is taken into consideration when the horoscope is made.

Not only people' countries also have a horoscope created and maintained by astrologers over a period of time. Especially in the eastern world' the country will have a horoscope which can determine the direction the country maybe heading.

Reading' learning' studying and using of horoscope is an integral part of the eastern world. Most of the cultural events and aspects are based on the horoscope and its planetary positioning.

For example' farmers from the east use the horoscope to determine the time to plant seeds and the time to harvest. Starting of a business' sitting for an exam' signing legal documents are some of the instances where people will use their horoscope to determine an auspicious time for the activity.Marriage tends to be the most common and significant time where people use their horoscope. Determining if the man and woman to be married are compatible is done through reading and matching their birth charts. With the use of the horoscope the astrologer is able to indicate if they will have a happy and successful marriage or not.

After the initial match making is done' the horoscope will be further used to determine the auspicious time for the marriage or engagement and other aspects such as buying land or a new home' giving birth to a new baby and so on.

In the eastern culture it is considered that if the horoscopes do not match in a marriage' it will not be successful. Similarly' it is common belief that the work that you're planning to do is not done at an auspicious time it will not be successful; hence it has become and integral part of the Asian lives.
