At Kidzart, students are introduced to the fascinating and exciting world of creative arts. KidzArt makes developing art skills FUN for everyone. In fact, KidzArt is not just for kids; it’s for all ages from 2-102! While KidzArt is mostly based in drawing, we provide a rich multi-media, multi-cultural visual arts experience filled with 2 and 3-D art projects that “WOW”. This experience will help develop creative thinking and improve problem solving skills, thereby building confidence in students who can readily face the challenges of tomorrow and lose the fear of starting something new.
As children learn to draw lines and shapes, their motor skills are enhanced. What’s more, these skills are transferred into many subjects such as music, writing, dance and making social connections! From an early age, with art skills developed through our Squiggles to Grins and Discover (Preschool) programs, students find that they can make recognizable shapes and even improve communication abilities with peers and parents. These skills foster emotional comfort early on. We often hear parents say to us, “I wish that I had a class like this when I was a child.”
KidzArt helps children to take their drawing skills to new levels as they grow. Through individual guidance and encouragement, they learn how to use art to express their thoughts and ideas clearly. A child’s ability to express what they think and feel through art, are the building blocks for developing the confidence needed to tackle academic and personal challenges throughout life.
The realm of possibilities keeps expanding with KidzArt. Children learn to adopt and create their own artistic styles and make interpretations while learning to use a wide variety of mediums.
The KidzArt philosophy is that through our methods every child has the ability while having FUN to create works of art. And that using our simple techniques, children and adults will quickly feel confident in this one area, which in turn eliminates barriers to creative expression in every area of his or her life. |
