As a 2 year old starts in the KidzArt Squiggles to Grins! program, they discover the joy and excitement of creating original art! They are introduced to lines and shapes which are the basic “letters” of art. At this age, they are happy exploring this new language. The fun and excitement is multiplied by the use of washable paints and other non-toxic art materials.
As children complete the 3rd year, KidzArt shows preschoolers how to fit all these lines and shapes together. In the Discover! program, KidzArt teaches kids how the world around them works. Kindergarten students then learn how to use the ‘language’ of art to express their thoughts and ideas in the Connect! program. They learn to experiment with colors and dimensional media, too.
First, second and third graders ‘power up’ their creative energy in the Imagine program. They are introduced to their own tool box of creative skills and are taught how to interactively use these tools. There are plenty of surprises when they begin to interpret shape, color and proportion! They start to use imagination in their artwork more and more.
For third to fifth graders, Explore! exposes kids to different art styles, multicultural educational experiences through art and a variety of artistic mediums. At this level, children are increasingly confident about their means of expression and have begun to adapt their own personal artistic style.
Aspire! lets students flex their creative muscles. Art-enriched workouts are provided which are packed with challenging and fun design projects. This helps push their creative potential! Personal training gives these students the final touch. KidzArt classes can provide a new student of any age the ability to simplify, modify or provide a challenge for the more advanced students.
