How Wholesale Distributors Can Make You A Profit

By Nicole Allard

One example I can give that helps me support my informational website is CafePress. CafePress is an online store that helps you sell products. They sell a variety of items such as t-shirts, hats, buttons, books, journals, stickers, bumper stickers, and more. What you need to do to sell on their website is create a store, and upload your own images that will be printed on particular products. With a little imagination, creativity and a niche market, you can sell quite a bit of inventory. The great thing about it is that I don’t have to pay anything out of my pocket. My expenses for owning the store are taken out of my sales. I set the price to sell the products at above what it costs me, therefore making it the profit I want to earn. I market the store, letting my niche market know that it is there and it’s great. I don’t need to worry about making the products, and I don’t have to worry about shipping them. They take care of everything for me, and about once a month I get a check in the mail for my profits earned. I think it’s fantastic.

With a wholesale distributor you can do the same thing for your business. There is no need to worry about where to store your inventory. There is no need to worry about shipping your products to your customers. Your wholesale distributor takes care of all of that for you. The only thing you need to worry about is marketing your products. Of course, the best way to make the most sales is to find a product that you are passionate about. For me, I look books. I have considered opening an Ebay store to sell the finest literature from a wholesale distributor. Unfortunately, the niche market of people willing to spend their cash on books is limited, so I would probably have to choose a different product to market. That might be a problem you run into as well. And that’s all right. Sometimes what we love, and what we would love to sell may only sell to a small group of customers. Ideally you want your niche market to be huge! One market is in vintage t-shirts. Believe it or not, some vintage t-shirts, such as band tour shirts, or hard to find vintage clothing has a great market. Vintage anything is in, and people are willing to spend the cash on the right vintage wear. I know of one vintage shirt that sold for about $200 on Ebay. It cost a few bucks for the owner to get it. That is a great profit from just one product!

Wholesale distributors can bring your business the success you are seeking. Buying your items wholesale means that you are not paying retail prices like everyone else. You are buying in bulk for a much cheaper price. Not only that, but you can search for a wholesale distributor that sells the products that you want to sell – products that you care about. Buying your inventory wholesale will save you money and enable you to make a nice profit. Find one or more wholesale distributors for your business today, and watch your business grow!
