Arcadia Events Festivals And Attractions
Arcadia is one of the main cities in California, famous for the US Route 66 that has been mentioned in a number of different songs and in literary works. There have been a number of films filmed here too, including the family comedy Matilda, based on the book of the same name by Roald Dahl. There are a number of good schools here too, making it a nice place to raise a family in. The Arcadia High School has some of the best teachers in this whole place, with all of them aiming to bring out the best in your children. |

Arcadia City Weather Homes and Real Estate Discussions
One advantage of living in Arcadia is that there are a number of places you can hit. The Santa Anita Mall and Racetrack is immensely popular as this place attracts a large crowd even on weekdays. Tournaments are religiously attended by people from neighboring cities in addition to locals. Near the Arboretum, a flock of peacocks constantly live there, which is not disturbed by anyone. Children will love to see the peacocks here, very different from the caged enclosures they are usually kept in. To get involved in the band scene in the city, you can attend the Arcadia Festival of Bands which is held yearly. |

Arcadia TV Shows Movies News Sports And Entertainment
Have you watched the movie Cloverfield? The scene where the survivors walk inside a Bloomingdale store was actually filmed in the Robinsons May store in Cloverfield. This is only one of the number of times where the infamous Route 66 here has been mentioned in many different forms of media. The first McDonald’s store was opened here too, located on Huntington Boulevard. The Santa Anita Park Racetrack is also a very popular filming location. Seabiscuit was filmed here along with a number of different commercials from a Claritin Allergy Medicine to a Lexus commercial! |
