A. Time off work varies by occupation, this can vary from 5 to 9 days depending on the extent of the procedure. Once the bandages are removed, the patient will need to wear a specialized surgical bra for several weeks.

Q. Who is an ideal candidate for breast lift surgery?

A. Ideal candidates for breast lift surgery are those patients that are satisfied with their current breast size, but not their shape.

Q. Are there risks and complications to a breast lift surgery?

A. Breast lift surgery has similar risks and complications to other procedures including bleeding and infection.  Surgeons who are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery can discuss risks that would apply to you.  There are other "board certified" surgeons, however, the American Board of Plastic Surgery is considered by many to be the gold standard.
