The Anchorage Movies forum invites all moms in Anchorage to share their views on their favorite movie. It need not be the latest movie showing in Anchorage cinemas, but you can talk about any classic movies which are still lingering in your memory.
I hope all moms who have kids would have taken them to see “Ice Age 3.” There is very little in it to watch for the adults and the movie is entirely made for children. For me it was not as interesting as the first “Ice Age.”
“District 9” tops all the movies that were released this summer. It was totally awesome! The directing was great and the story line contained no holes. The main character played by Sharlto Copley did a great job. By the way, he is a new guy and for a new actor he did really great. For me, it was one of the greatest sci-fi films that I’ve seen so far.
I also hope you watched “Marley and Me.” It is a beautiful family story woven around a mischievous dog; however, some scenes contain a few mild profanities. I don’t think the movie is for kids below thirteen; hope you agree with me.
