Q. What types of cosmetic dentures are possible?
A. Cosmetic dentures can be made to change size and shape and color of teeth and still be functional. This would all be based on the size,gender and shape of the patients facial structure. Implant supported dentures are always another great option I have had some fantastic natural results, but the process requires a little more time.
Q. How long do cosmetic dentures take to make?
A. With a few visits the time frame is about 2 to 3 weeks
Q. What are the alternatives to cosmetic dentures?
A. Once the teeth are missing the alternatives to full replacement are minimal either a Complete removable denture or a fixed implant retained style denture.
Q. Are dentures uncomfortable or painful to wear?
A. You will have an adjustment period, but most patients adapt.
Q. What’s the difference between conventional dentures and immediate
dentures?
A. Both are removable but a conventional denture would be a replacement of an existing denture while an immediate denture would be worn by a patient to transition (healing) into a Conventional or Implant style denture.
